John J. Martino, Esquire: is the founder and Managing Attorney of Martino Law Group, LLC a general practice law firm located in Melrose, Massachusetts.   Attorney Martino and his team guide clients through many of life’s events that require the expertise of an experienced attorney.

With an emphasis on Real Estate Conveyance and Title matters, we regularly represent buyers, sellers, and lenders in the Commonwealth, in both residential and commercial real estate matters. We regularly identify and resolve complex title issues while diligently ensuring that all post-closing issues are timely resolved.

As a continued service to our clients, we represent our clients to draft their Estate Plans, prosecute and defend general liability actions, handle their divorces, and represent them in complex matters that require the use of multiple experts, thus providing our clients one law firm for all of their legal needs.

We take a team approach to all matters and regularly deliver precedent setting results you can count on. We also work with small businesses to develop a defensive strategy to protect the life and longevity of the company through sound business planning.

Attorney Martino regularly represents companies and individuals in a variety of litigation matters including all aspects of personal injury, general liability, and insurance defense.  In particular, his work includes the prosecution and defense of personal injury and wrongful death claims as a result of motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, construction site accidents, and all tort related matters.

Prior to establishing Martino Law Group, LLC Attorney Martino was a Senior Trial Attorney with One Beacon Insurance Group.  As a staff attorney, Attorney Martino defended both personal and commercial insured’s in a myriad of legal actions.  Representative actions included, defense of all personal injury actions, construction site accidents, environmental claims, general insurance coverage disputes and the prosecution of many subrogation matters.

Attorney Martino is a qualified Mediator, Conciliator, and an arbitrator for a variety of civil cases.  He regularly uses his extensive trial experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants to enable him to facilitate a fair settlement between the plaintiff and insurance companies prior to trial.

Attorney Martino is licensed to practice law in all State and Federal District Courts in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

In his free time, John enjoys golf, skiing, working on his turn of the century Victorian Home, and most of all spending time with his wife and two young sons.
